Lectures, Talks and Guided Walks

"Hands on" archaeological experiences are a great way to engage younger children.

PCA’s Project Managers and Senior Archaeologists present the results of our projects via a comprehensive programme of lectures tailored to the needs of other professionals, university students, archaeological and historical societies and other interest groups. PCA also work with Argent on behalf of the King’s Cross Central Partnership to provide guided walks around the former Great Northern Railway Goods Station at King’s Cross as part of Open House Weekend (annually in September). Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with future engagements.

PCA’s London Office is based in Lewisham and as such the company aims to support local schools in the Borough. A limited number of primary schools across Lewisham can thus receive a free interactive talk each year that focuses upon life in Roman London. Accompanied by a “hands-on” archaeological experience, this presentation supports Key Stage II learning.
