Duxford ,Cambridgeshire
Sian O Neill and Mark Hinman will be visiting Duxford School on Thursday 9th October to talk about the recent excavations of some very important Roman Pottery Kilns that PCA recently excavated on the new Welches Transport Site on Moorfield Road site as part of the students key stage 2 curriculum.

The papers will cover sites and aspects of Suffolk’s Archaeology from the Bronze Age to WWII, and the event, despite moving to a larger venue, is now completely sold out.


Hopton on Sea, Norfolk

Recent Archaeology in Cambridgeshire

In his role as conference secretary for the Cambridge Antiquarian Society Mark Hinman is organising this years round up of archaeological highlights from the county. The event will be held on 22nd November at the Law Faculty Building on the Sidgewick Campus of Cambridge University and is open to members and non members alike and pre booking is not required.

Jon House will be representing PCA on the day speaking on the recent excavations of some very unusual early Saxon burials from Haddenham. John Maloney will also be attending to front the PCA stand in the conference atrium.

Haddenham, Cambridgeshire

Jon House will be  speaking to the Haddenham Local History Society on December 5th in the Village Hall at 7pm. His talk is titled 'Excavations at the Three Kings Pub, an Early Saxon cemetery'.
